I’ve sent my documents but not received my E-reference number, what next?

If you haven’t received your E-Reference number, it means part of your application is incomplete. You need to make sure you have completed every step on your instructions email. These steps are specific to your licensing authority, but may include:

Completing a DBS application form.

Completing your DVLA licence check e-consent.

Getting documents verified at the post office.

Sending proof of national insurance

If you are sure all the steps have been completed, it could be a problem with your documents. If we raise a query, we will contact you by the same method you sent the ID (excluding postal documents).

Most queries are easily solved but we can’t amend your application without consent.

If you have placed an order but not received an instructions email, please let us know at [email protected]

Remember, your check isn’t in process until you have the E-Reference number.
