When ordering your check, we only need your first name and surname. This is not the application form. If you include middle names it can cause delays.
For example, if your name were ‘Mohammed Farooq Ahmed’, you would submit your order as ‘Mohammed Ahmed. When you complete the application form there is space to enter your middle name(s).
The best way to check this is to look at your driving licence number. Below is an example, separated into 5 sections.
A | B | C | D | E |
AHMED | 857203 | MF9 (or M99) | LY | 60 |
The important part here is Section C. This is the first two initials of your first names. If you have only one initial, the second character will be a '9'.
If you have more than one first name but the initial is shown here, it means it is legally recognised as a middle name. Please don’t include it when placing your order.
